Albert Korngage, Sr. 68, of Fredericksburg, VA died peacefully on February 4, 2010 at his home. Survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sharon, mother Margaret Rzemiski, children Debra (Don) Mallow Jr. Susan (Jim) Antenucci and Albert Korngage Jr. (Christina Vorbau). Five grandchildren Brittany Korngage (Cade) Adams, A.J. Korngage,Michael & Alexandra Antenucci and Rachel Mallow. Originally from Lorain, Ohio Al joined the Air Force and then the DC Police Dept spending the majority of his 20 year career as a Sergeant in the Firearms Training Division retiring in 1985. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
