Barbara J. Dunn, (nee Kinat) age 63, of Lorain, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Community Health Partners, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
She was born Oct. 21, 1946 in Norwalk, Ohio, living in Lorain for the past 47 years.
Barbara was a homemaker who enjoyed shopping and pets.
Surviving is her husband of 45 years, Miller; a son, Troy of North Ridgeville; a daughter, Kim Dunn of Lorain; two grandchildren; her father, Oswald Kinat of Baltimore, Maryland; sisters Francis Byrne of Lorain, and Julie Neely of Amherst.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline (nee Day) Hunt Kinat in 1970.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am. Rev. Robert Daugherty will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Friendship Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria, OH 44035-4746.
